Other information: 

Smarty Pants Preschool follows the Washington County School District calendar starting in mid-August until mid-May. 

Tuition is collected September through May (not in August to offset shorter months like December and May).

There are 6-8 students per class which allows a great student-teacher ratio for academics. 

We use many of the teaching methods shared in this blog including (but not limited to) Leap Frog letter recognition and sounds with Miss Doree’s adaptations, Handwriting Without Tears, Sorts, Games, Math, Music, Art and Science. We work on fine motor skills, social skills and train for proper behavior in a school setting using lots of positive reinforcement.

Our goal is for your preschooler to have loads of fun while learning with a multi-sensory approach so they are completely ready and excited for kindergarten! Although academics are a focus, we strive to make curriculum so hands-on and fun, your preschooler won’t even realize how much they are learning as they “play!”
